Free Estate Planning Consultation in Utah

Every estate plan at Cutler Riley starts with a free consultation. You will meet directly with an attorney, not a paralegal or intake coordinator. The conversation typically runs 15 to 30 minutes, and you will leave with a clear picture of what your plan should include and a flat-fee quote before any commitment is required. There is no obligation to hire us.

We meet in person at our Draper and Kaysville offices, by phone, and online. Select a time below.

What to Expect

Your consultation is a one-on-one conversation with a Cutler Riley attorney. We will ask about your family, your assets, and your goals. By the end of the appointment, you will know what documents your plan needs, how they work together, and exactly what the work will cost. Flat-fee pricing means there are no hourly surprises.

If you already have an estate plan and want a second opinion or an update, bring whatever documents you have. We will review them and tell you plainly whether they still hold up under current Utah law and whether anything needs to change.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the consultation really free? Yes. The initial consultation is always free and comes with no obligation to hire Cutler Riley or move forward with any plan.

Do I need to bring anything? If this is your first estate plan, nothing is required. If you have existing documents you want reviewed — a will, trust, powers of attorney, or healthcare directive — bring those and we will evaluate them during the appointment.

Can I meet by phone or online? Yes. We offer consultations in person at our Draper or Kaysville office, by phone, or via video conference. Select whichever format works best for you when you book above.

How long does the consultation take? Most consultations run 15 to 30 minutes. More complex situations, or reviews of existing plans, may take a little longer.

What happens after the consultation? If you decide to move forward, we will prepare your estate planning documents at the flat-fee price quoted during your appointment. Most plans are completed and ready to sign within one to two weeks.

Do you work with clients outside of Draper and Kaysville? Yes. Cutler Riley serves clients statewide. Phone and video consultations are available to anyone in Utah regardless of location.
